BitTorrent Downloads Beta
The Beta for the 3.0 version of a popular BitTorrent downloads client has been released from the uTorrent development team. This new version, called uTorrent 3.0, adds in ratings, comments, streaming and other new features in a bid to appeal to both novices and long time BitTorrent users.
The first version of the software quickly became the most widely used BitTorrent application following its release in 2005, and today close to 100 million users worldwide regularly use the client. One of the most anticipated new features in the Beta is the option to rate and comment on torrent files added to uTorrent. This was added in response to many requests from users in the past. Some fear that it will bloat the application and open the door for spammers, but a majority of users will likely appreciate the addition of comments as a useful feature to help them determine the quality of the file they're downloading.
