How BitTorrent works?

BitTorrent networks are one of the latest forms of file sharing on the Internet. BitTorrent is working by simultaneously downloading many bits and kilobits of files from multiple sources available on the Internet.
Downloading BitTorrent software it is easy and usually non-profit (that means it does not cost anything).
There is much more to explain, but it is enough to know that users can search and download all kinds of files: movies, music, videos, applications and more.
BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer system that makes possible the transfer of large files (or groups of files) between people in a very easy and fast way. This type of sharing network is little different from a normal peer-to-peer network. Here, users don't search for files that the others already have (like you would normally do in the context of traditional clients like Kazaa or oDC). For using BitTorrent, a user just needs to enter on a website that lists the files and only download the torrent file. After that, the BitTorrent client will automatically open and start the download.
