BitTorrent-For Efficient Downloading

BitTorrent is the global standard for delivering high-quality files over the Internet. BitTorrent is a protocol that allows users to download files quickly and efficiently. It is a peer-to-peer (P2P) protocol which means one can download and upload to other people downloading the same file. BitTorrent is often used for distribution of very large and popular files and files available for free, as it is a lot cheaper, faster and more efficient to distribute files using BitTorrent than a regular download. The files downloaded via BitTorrent are called torrents.
There are multiple Bit Torrent clients. A client here means a computer program that follows the rules of a protocol. For downloading, clients are necessary. Some of the clients are:
• uTorrent
• Azureus
• Bitcomet
To go to a web site and download content, we need a URL. Similarly we need a torrent file, a small file that provides the BitTorrent client the necessary downloading information. Torrent files can be obtained from torrent websites.
